Home to eight of highest peaks in the world, Nepal has an abundance of powerful rivers fed from the heights of these giants after a strong monsoon season. Popular rafting destinations are the Trisuli, Seti, Bhote, Kali Gandaki Masyandi, Sun Koshi, Arun, Karnali and Tamur Rivers each offering different challenges and difficulties. Nepal offers world class rafting trips anywhere from 1 to 10 days with the availability of additional kayaking, hiking, mountain biking and beach camping incorporated into these trips. These trips will take you through several of Nepal’s’ remote villages and towns offering a once in a lifetime experience to combine adventure with culture.
What do I need to bring and what is provided?
Along with our high quality self-bailing rafts, we provide helmets, plastic paddles, wetsuits, lifejackets, and first aid kit. We provide healthy and hygienically prepared food and drinks as well as tents and sleeping mats and sleeping bags for overnight stay. Please bring shorts and a T-shirt or swimwear including suitable footwear as well as warm clothing for the evenings, a towel, sun block, a flashlight and your camera. Furthermore, Good Karma Trekking takes the safety of our clients very seriously. All our guides are licensed, with years of rafting and are trained in CPR, First Aid and advanced river rescue techniques.
