Besides Manali-Leh route, Srinagar-Leh is another route that provides you access to Ladakh by road. Some prefers visiting Ladakh from Manali side, some by flight and some from Srinagar. And this is the package for those wanting to come to Ladakh from Srinagar side.
Kashmir and Ladakh Package start from Srinagar with sightseeing of Gulmarg and Pahalgam. After visiting some of local sightseeing places at Srinagar, we proceed towards Ladakh after crossing Zojila pass.
This Package includes visit to all the major monasteries including Hemis, Thiksey, Shey, Lamayuru and Diskit monasteries.
The Kashmir and Ladakh Package also includes the popular Pangong Lake. You will traverse many high mountain passes including Khardungla pass, Chang-la and Zojila pass.

Detailed Itinerary
Meal: Dinner
After arrival at Srinagar airport, you would be transferred to hotel/houseboat for check-in. After breakfast enjoy half day sightseeing tour of Srinagar and visit world famous Mughal Gardens covering the Nishat Bagh ( The Garden of Pleasure ) built by Asif Jahan in 1636 AD and Shalimar Bagh ( Adobe of Love) built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Nur Jahan in 1619 AD. Late afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbat (if weather permits). The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs. Chair Lifts and Gondola (Cable Car) for mountain ride are also available here. Later we shall move to Pahalgam for night stay.

After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds). The distance of about 140 kms will be covered in about 4 hrs. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman), see the beautiful countryside on the way and rice fields. Drive through the pine forest. Arrive at Pahalgam transfer to Hotel. After lunch have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains. Later driver back to Srinagar for overnight stay.

Today after breakfast, check out of the Hotel & move to Kargil. You woud be driven through beautiful Sonmarg & Drass Valley (after crossing Zojila pass). Check-in to hotel upon arrival. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Kargil.

Today after Breakfast, you would be driven to Leh, en-route visit Lamayuru, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill & Sangam View where Indus & Zanskar river meet (confluence). Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Leh.

Today after an early breakfast you would be driven to Nubra Valley. Enroute visit Khardung-la-pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380ft. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive at Hunder & check in at Hotel. Later visit Diskit Village & enjoy the Camel ride on sand dunes. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel

Today after breakfast, you will be driven to Turtuk. The name Turtuk is a Turkish word that was exposed by two Turkish namely “chuli and Yangdrung” who wandered and came to this place and settled here. Today their generations ably back here as so-called race of Chulipa and Yangdrungpa in Turtuk. Turtuk Ladakh, being the mainstream of balti culture of baltistan lies on the historic trade routes between Skardu, Yarkand “East Turkistan aka Xijian”, Leh and Srinagar are restored the line of control had bisected the Himalayan silk route. After visiting Turtuk, we shall come back to Hunder for night stay.

After breakfast, check out from the Hotel & drive to Pangong Lake, east to the Leh via Shyok. You will drive through Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh. This is perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 – 5 times a day. At evening enjoy the breathtaking view of Pangong Lake. Overnight at the Camp at Pangong Lake.

Today after breakfast, check out from the Camp & drive to Leh via Changla pass. Today your can visit Hemis, Thiksey, Shey and Sindhu Ghat. Evening free for leisure & own activities. Overnight at the Hotel in Leh.
