As per your flight details in Kathmandu, we will pick up you from the airport in Kathmandu and transfer to your into the Hotel in Kathmandu city center.

We will meet into our office after your breakfast at your hotel, close by your hotel, some of our staff member will assist you to be into our office, We will brief about the trek, introduce you our Guide, Sherpa and crew members as well as well check your proper equipment. So remaining gears and Equpment you can buy them in Kathmandu. We will drop you to your hotel after all the official formalities.

Chetchet Elevation: 1,377 meters

The tour starts with a scenic drive of 7 to 8 hours from Kathmandu to Chet-Chet. You will travel through beautiful geographical areas including terrains and beautiful river bodies like the Sunkoshi and Bhote Khosi. Once you get to Chet-Chet, you will begin a 2 to 3 hours trek to Simigaon.

Main Attraction: Views of Mount Gaurishankar and some traditional Sherpa villages. Visit to Buddhist Monastery and experience Sherpa cultural practices.

Daldung La Altitude: 3,976 meters

After having breakfast, we will start our trek from Simigaon to Daldung La. The trail first descends down and then climbs the famous stone steps. We then climb the path before descending to arrive at the serene Rolwaling River.

Moreover, we can observe the beautiful Gaurishankar Himal (7134m) along the forested trail. After trekking for a few hours, we will arrive at the beautiful Daldung La, where we stay overnight.

Beding Altitude: 3,690 meters

Trek Duration: 4-5 hours

The trail today leads us to Beding from Daldung La. We pass through the forested trail that continues up and down to arrive at Beding. Beding is the largest village settlement of the Rolwaling region.

We can observe the entire snow-capped mountains and the beautiful waterfalls in the region. There we can also find the beautiful Buddhist Gompa of the area. We will stay overnight at a teahouse in Beding.

An acclimatization day at Beding is essential to adapt our bodies to the changing high altitude environment. You will have an opportunity to hike in and around the village. The breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains, including Mt. Gauri Shanker and others will enchant you.

You will also get to observe the Tibetan mountains across the border along the trail. After exploring around for the day, you will return and stay overnight at the teahouse in Beding.

Na Altitude: 4,180 meters

Trek Distance: 7 kilometers

Trek Duration: 2-3 hours

After breakfast, we will start our trek from Beding to Na Gaun. The trail moves along the right bank of Rolwaling River for a few hours to arrive at Dhogre. The view of the snow-capped mountain of Gaurishankar (7134m) from an alternate perspective is enthralling.

Moreover, you can observe the U-shaped valley with green meadows. There we can also find various Mani stones and prayer flags along with a large Bodhisattva art painted on a large rock. The village of Na Gaon is just a few hours away from the place and remains enclosed under stone walls. We will spend the night at a teahouse in NaGaon.

Max Altitude; 5094 M

We will do one more day acclamatazation , from where we explore the beautiful Yalung La Pass (5094m). An optional we can climb to Yalung La Pass (5094m).

We will have a stunning view of Ramdung Peak’s glacier and abundant watercourses cutting through it. From here we also can see Tsho-Rolpa glacier lake, Yalung La Glacier in the east, and in the south Ramdung Peak (5930m), as well as Yalung Ri (5630m) in the west and gorgeous outlooks of the Himalayan ranges in the north concerning the edge with Tibet ( china ) , we will return to Na and over night at basic Tea house.

Tsho Rolpa Lake Altitude: 4,540 meters

Trek Distance: 6 kilometers

Trek Duration: 2-3 hours

We start our trek passing through the forested trail to arrive at the serene glacial Tsho Rolpa lake. The trail leaves Na Gaon by crossing the majestic suspension bridges over the Rolwaling River.

We climb an uphill path to arrive at a place with vast green meadows. There are two glaciers along the trail as we enter the valley. The trail passes through the rocky moraines of Rolwaling Glacier, before arriving at the Tsho Rolpa Lake. We further explore the magnificent lake and then stay overnight at a teahouse in the area.

Trakarding Glacier Altitude: 4,800 meters

Trek Distance: 10 kilometers

The trek on this day takes you from Tsho Rolpa to Trakarding Glacier (4800m). We start our journey early in the morning through the glacial paths. The trails pass through the icy glaciers, and you can experience the beautiful snow wonderland in all its glory. This is one of the best adventures of the whole trail. You will stay overnight at a tented camp in Trakarding Glacier.

Tashi Lapcha Phedi Camp Altitude: 4,550 meters

Trek Distance: 10 kilometers

Trek Duration: 5-6 hours

We will start our trek from Trakarding Glacier to Tashi Lapcha Phedi Camp on this day. The trail of this stunning trek passes through some hard sections where we need to perform some rock climbing. The path then turns into a slow walk on the glacier. The trail then continues through the Trakarding Glacier towards the majestic Drolambau Glacier.

Moreover, we walk along the slippery trails observing the scenic beauty of Himalayan mountains along the region. We then arrive in Tashi Lapcha Phedi from Drolambau Glacier. We will stay overnight at a camp in the premises of Tashi Lapcha Phedi.

Tashi Lapcha Pass Altitude: 5,755 meters

Tashi Cape Altitude: 4,900 meters

Trek Distance: 12 kilometers

Trek Duration: 6-7 hours

After breakfast, we prepare to start the trek from Tashi Lapcha Phedi to Tashi Lapcha Pass and then to Tashi Cape. The trail begins with a steep climb from Tashi Lapcha Phedi to Tashi Lapcha Pass (5755m). This trek will then lead us to Tashi Lapcha Camp (5665m) or the Tashi Labcha Phuk.

Moreover, the trail moves steeply ahead as we pass through the Tashi Lapcha Pass (5755m) which separates the Khumbu region from the Rolwaling region. The trails of this trek fall under the pristine Sagarmatha National Park and descend to the Tashi Lapcha Camp. We will stay overnight at a camp in Tashi cape.

Thyomgbo Altitude: 4,350 meters

Trek Distance: 15 kilometers

The trail today starts from Tashi Cape to Thyomgbo (4350m). We start our trek with a more accessible walk on a smooth and downhill trek. The trail then descends towards the Tashi Lapcha Camp, as we arrive in Ngole on a snowy and icy trail.

We descend further to Parchemuche Tsho, which is a glacial lake in the Khumbu region, before arriving at Thyangbo. The beautiful majestic views of the snow-capped mountains, including Pasang Lhamu Chuli (7350m) and Cho Oyu (8201m), will spellbind you. You will stay overnight at a tented camp after arriving in Thyangbo.

Thame Altitude: 3,820 meters

We trek from Thyomgbo to Thame (3820m) on this day. You will travel to Thame early in the morning. The trail gradually descends on an easy path, and you can enjoy the pristine natural beauty of the region. After a trek of around 6-7 hours, we will arrive at our destination. We will stay overnight at a lodge in Thame.

Namche Bazaar Altitude: 3,440 meters

The trek starts from Thame to Namche Bazaar on this day. We will start our trail gently on a gradual trail for about an hour to arrive at Sanasa (3550m). The incredible first glimpse of the mountain peaks of the Khumbu region including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Kusum Kangaru, and Thamserku will spellbind you.

We pass through many villages along the descending trail to arrive at a bridge that we cross over the Dudh Koshi River at Phunki Tenga (3250m). The trail then ascends steeply to Sanasa where you can find many Sherpa people selling Tibetan goods.

Furthermore, after crossing the up and down path, we arrive at Namche Bazaar. We can observe the breathtaking scenario and incredible villages. You can spend the night at a lodge in Namche.

Lukla Altitude: 2,840 meters

The trek today starts from Namche Bazaar to Phakding (2640m). The trek takes about four hours along the steep trek. The trek passes along the ups and down trail to arrive at Phakding via Monjo.

We then trek from Phakding to Lukla (2886m) that takes about three hours. The trek then leads us to the famous Dudh Koshi river before arriving at Lukla. Our Rolwaling trek itinerary comes to an official end in Lukla. We will stay overnight at a lodge in Lukla and fly to Kathmandu the next day.

The possibility of altitude sickness is high during the Rolwaling Trek, which is an alpine mountain journey. From day 2 of the journey, you will be above 3,000 meters and only on the 11th day will you lower down to 2,000 meter range elevation. In between the periods, you will progressively gain the elevation. The significant heights that you will reach are Tsho Rolpa Lake at 4,580 m, Dorlumbau Glacier at 5,335 m and Tashi Lapcha Pass at 5,755 m.

The chance of mountain sickness increases the more you reach the higher altitudes where the air pressure is less. Your body will find it difficult to adjust to the lowering oxyen levels of high elevations. As a result, you will experience several symptoms of altitude sickness. Generally, these symptoms are seen after crossing a height of 2,500 meters.

Generally, you have to pack clothes in a layered approach for alpine mountain journeys where weather conditions can change rapidly. Likewise, you need to accommodate to the varying temperatures from the lower region to the higher altitudes of the trek. For this, soft and lightweight base layers, insulated mid layers and water/wind proof outer layers are necessary.

Summer/Monsoon (June, July, August)

Summer/monsoon is hot and wet with scorching sun and heavy rainfall. Pack lightweight, breathable and moisture wicking clothes along with rain gear for trekking during this time. Carry T shirts, pants, shorts, bottoms, shirts, trousers, liner gloves, sun hat, thin socks, gaiters, rain jackets and pants for protection against heat and rain.

Winter (December, January, February)
