Trip Overview

Annapurna North Base Camp Trek(4190)
In 1950, a French expedition team under the leadership of Maurice Herzog was the first climber in history to reach the top of Annapurna I. At first, the group decided to begin searching for a path to either Annapurna or Dhaulagiri. They headed to the North Face of Annapurna after concluding that Dhaulagiri was too challenging.

The Annapurna North Base Camp Trek, also known as the French North Face Route, has gained popularity recently. They arrived at Annapurna’s top without oxygen. They found the journey down from Annapurna to be both challenging and exciting. Dodging the snowstorm, avalanches, and other mishaps made for an insane descent.
Good Karma Trekking has crafted the North Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary for those individuals who are interested in the wilderness and less explored areas in the famous Annapurna region.

We provide this unique trekking itinerary to those who are interested in exploring the northwest side of Annapurna I’s base camp. Although trekking is challenging, you can undoubtedly experience the Himalayas’ splendor from a variety of sweeping perspectives. Natural hot springs, Gurung culture, Hiunchuli, Machhepuchare, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Nilgiri, and Annapurna South are the trek’s primary highlights.

Despite the trail’s abundance of natural diversity, only a small number of mountain lovers and adventurers are currently visiting Annapurna North Base Camp. Thus, a new and enduring experience is in store for you.
The North ABC Trek begins from Kathmandu to Pokhara; after that, you will drive from Pokhara to Tatopani and follow the Maurice Herzog trail route. Your real trek will begin in Tatopani to reach Narchayng village and Chhotepa. From Chhotepa, you will hike toward Sandhi Kharka, then finally to the north base camp of Annapurna I (8091 m).

After exploring North Annapurna Base Camp, your return journey will start through Sandhi Kharka, Thulo Bugin, then Lete in Mustang. From Lete, you will drive back to Pokhara and finally to Kathmandu to conclude this amazing journey.

Since there isn’t currently a lodge or motel along the new hiking path, you could find the trip a little challenging. To look after our clients, we provide highly qualified, experienced trekking guides . In the spring and fall, when you can see a rhododendron forest with red, pink, and white blooms, you will undoubtedly find this walk amazing and fascinating. Additionally, fortunate tourists may spot musk deer, snow panthers, bears, blue sheep, and other natural creatures.
