In Thorung Phedi, there aren’t many tea places. Unlike the lush lowlands you crossed on the way up during the first part of the hike, the deserted, rocky environment is unearthly and quite different. Spring – March through May
Due to the bright skies and sunny days, this is the most sought-after season for Annapurna Circuit Trekking in Nepal. At higher altitudes, mornings and nights may be chilly, although temperatures will generally be mild. The sky is largely clear and there is no rain at this moment. At this time of year, the greenery is in great abundance. The rhododendron, which is the national flower of Nepal, grows at lower elevations and is exceptionally magnificent. The pine trees at lower altitudes will be refreshing and aromatic, while other wildflowers offer a variety of colors.
Autumn – October through November
In the Annapurna region, this is another really popular period to go Hiking on Annapurna Circuit. More hikers will be on the trails because of the pleasant weather and stunning scenery, and lodging is in high demand. Staff for trekking is overworked since the festival season and peak trekking season overlap. When organizing your trek, do keep this in mind. On the other side, you may enjoy Pokhara’s and the route’s festive ambiance.

The cuisine is of excellent quality during 12 Days Annapurna Circuit Trek, and we advise you to test some of the regional specialties, like dal, Bhat, boiled potatoes with chili sauce, Sherpa stew, and curry with rice. Although every lodge will also provide a broad variety of Western dishes.

Breakfast options include fried and scrambled eggs, toast, pancakes, Tibetan bread, muesli, porridge, tea, coffee, and chocolate.

Lunch and dinner menu items include soups (tomato, garlic, vegetable, mushrooms, etc.), veg fried rice, dal, bhat, curry with rice, noodles (mix fried, veg, egg, cheese), macaroni, spring rolls (veg, egg, cheese, mixed), mo:mo (dumpling), pizza (all varieties), fried potatoes (veg or cheese), chips, buff steak (water buffalo, occasionally yak), and lasagna.
We strongly advise staying away from dairy, alcoholic beverages, caffeinated foods, and hot chocolate. At high altitudes, it is advised to consume liquids like green tea, lemon tea, hot lemon, ginger tea, garlic soup (a necessity), and fresh vegetables.

You are going to stay in standard hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara. You may stay in a variety of accommodations while on the Annapurna Circuit Trek. There are lodges, guest hotels, and teahouses that cater to tourists. For your first step, the lodges are pleasant, but as you ascend to higher altitudes, things get to change. Sizable eating space with a wood-burning stove may be found in the tea house. Most of the time, hikers eat and talk while warming themselves by the fire in the eating area. There are blankets in every guesthouse. The lodgings are fairly minimal. Typically, they are furnished with two single beds, blankets, and occasionally a table and chair. Lower lodges have tidy, western-style flush toilets, but as you travel higher, long-drop conventional toilets, which are holes in the ground become more common. The best course of action is to always have some toilet paper with you.

The difficulty level of the Annapurna Circuit Trek is severe. The route’s extreme elevation is what contributes to the Annapurna Circuit trek’s challenging level of difficulty. Thorung La, the highest altitude pass in the area, is located along the hiking route and rises to a height of 5416 m. Due to the severe cold and heavy snowfall, this portion of the trip is so difficult that it is closed for most of the year. Additionally, you stay above 3000 meters at all times while on the journey. You traverse a couple of the most difficult terrains, which are frequently harsh, rocky, and steep. This increases the difficulty of the Annapurna circuit hike. The Annapurna Circuit Trek’s difficulty level cannot be lowered, unlike many other treks. You may choose to bypass some of the paths, but doing so would mean that you would miss out on the greatest parts of the adventure. The only thing a trekker can do to better manage the Annapurna Circuit trek Difficulties is to get physically and emotionally ready for the trip.

As hikers ascend higher into the mountains, the oxygen density and air pressure become less dense than at sea level. The Annapurna Circuit Hike progressively climbs to 5,416m above sea level after starting at a lower height. Trekkers may experience typical altitude sickness symptoms, such as nausea, diarrhea, headaches, lack of appetite, exhaustion, and sleeplessness while hiking over 3,000 meters. These symptoms need to be treated right away. To avoid more problems, hikers must promptly descend to a lower elevation. Many people choose not to inform others out of fear of being sent back and being unable to complete the voyage. Therefore, it inevitably endangers their lives. Don’t hide, and alert your guide as soon as you can. You must properly acclimatize in order to prevent altitude sickness symptoms. Your body may more easily adapt to its circumstances by acclimatizing. Water consumption, keeping your own speed, and adhering to your leader’s instructions all aid in AMS evasion. Additionally, you should abstain from drinking and smoking while on this excursion.

The information that follows may give you an idea of what to bring for the hike in general. You must keep in mind the basics because forgetting them might compromise the comfort of your Annapurna Circuit Excursion. It’s equally important that you don’t bring too much kit on the hike.
